estimated cost of printing of 280 calligraphed pages
will be as follows:
(a) For printing in one colour (black) only.
(i) Original reduced by i—500 copies will cost
Rs. 9,450,
Original reduced by £—1000 copies will cost
Rs. 14,700,
(ii) Original reduced by l/3rd—500 copies will
cost Rs. 15,500.
Original reduced by 1/3rd—1000 copies will
cost Rs. 24.500.
(b) For printing in colours as per specimen page.
(i) Original reduced by £—500 copies will cost
Rs. 30,200.
Original reduced by J—1000 copies will cost
Rs. 44,500.
(ii) Original reduced by l/3rd—500 copies wilt
cost Rs. 43.350.
Original reduced by l/3rd—1000 copies will
cost Rs. 62,500.
The above estimates of cost are for printing only.
4. The cost of binding will be approximately Rs. 1000
for 500 copies and Rs. 2000 for 1000 copies. Packing
and forwarding charges will be additional. The style
of binding will be cardboard cover with paper pasting,
1/4 cloth bound.
5. As regards the estimate of time, our Printing
Offices reckon that proofs could be supplied within two
months from the date of receipt of firm order and print­
ed copies within 2 months after the approved proofs
are received back from you. The binding will take
two to three months after printing is completed. It is
possible that you will not want to see the proofs and
in this case there will be a saving of time of ft.boi.it
2 months.
